Storm Updates
We understand the severe impact these storms can have and want you to know that we are well prepared for it. Our team has been ramping up our storm preparation plans this week and we are on standby to provide support for any storm-related outages.
Once the storm has passed, our team will assess any damage and provide support as soon as it is safe to do so.
Please be aware that due to our close monitoring of the storm, should you experience a service impact, our team is aware and will be working to resolve it in a timely manner. The call center may experience longer than usual wait times, so there is no need to notify us in the case of a storm impact.
Thank you and stay safe!

Yes, our team is always monitoring the network from our Network Operating Center (NOC). If you are experiencing an outage, our NOC will receive an alert, and our communication team will send you a notification via email. You DO NOT need to call in and report a service impact. Our team will restore any impacted services immediately as soon as it is safe to do so.
If you DO NOT have local power restored to your home by FP&L, you will not have BroadStar services. You should not call for a service call until your local power has been restored. If you have power as a result of using a generator and you do not have services, you should not call for a service call until you are off generator and have power to your home from FP&L.
