The 122nd U.S. Open begins on Thursday, June 16 from the Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts, with defending champion Jon Rahm returning after winning the Open at Torrey Pines in San Diego last year. Former U.S. Open champions who are fully exempt from having to qualify this year include Bryson DeChambeau, Gary Woodland, Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth, Martin Kaymer, Justin Rose, Webb Simpson, Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, and Jim Furyk.
Oddsmakers currently have 2022 Master’s champion Scottie Scheffler as the 11-1 favorite to win the 2022 U.S. Open Championship, followed by defending 2021 Open champ Jon Rahm at 12-1, and the PGA Championship winner Justin Thomas at 14-1.
