2022 CMT Music Awards | April 11th
Country Music’s only fan voted show, the 2022 CMT Music Awards will air for the first-time on broadcast television live on CBS on Monday, April 11th at 8 pm ET from the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. The ceremony will be available to stream on Paramount+, and the CMT channel will be airing an “Extended Cut” version with 30 minutes of added performances and extras on April 15th. Kane Brown earned the most nods in 2022 with 4 nominations, including video of the year, with “One Mississippi”. Kelsea Ballerini, Mickey Guyton, and first-timers Breland Johnson, and Cody Johnson each received three nominations apiece.
The CMT Music Awards are promising a line-up of performers including some of the biggest stars in Country Music, like Carrie Underwood, Mickey Guyton + Black Pumas, and a reunion of mother and daughter duo, The Judds, taking the stage together for the first-time in 20 years. The Awards ceremony will be hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and “Captain America” actor Anthony Mackie, fans can still vote for their favorite Country Music Video of 2022 at CMT.com, as well as for the “Trending Comeback Song of the Year” once a day, every day, until the day of the show on April 11th.
